A rule pack is a published set of warning labels with the material that teaches the platform what each one means. Installing a pack gives your rules more to watch for.

| Source | Good for | Version behaviour |
|---|---|---|
| A pack from the library | A domain someone else already mapped. | Pinned to the version you installed. |
| A label you write | Something only your organization sees. | Yours to change whenever you like. |
Note. A new version of a pack never changes your rules on its own. Moving is a step you take, and the platform reports which rules would fire differently first.
